Photography has always been my passion, but after my thirtieth birthday I decided to take a risk and turn my passion into both a reality and a career. I contacted David Loveall, an Oregon based photographer with more than 25 years of experience. After taking several training sessions with David, I became an intern and he started teaching me the ropes of what he (humorously) calls the "glamour" of photography. I've worked hard to learn all that I can and I continue striving to perfect a skill and trade I've fallen in love with.

I have since moved to Franklin Tennessee (just outside of Nashville) with my wife to pursue music and photography full time. Everything about photography interests me, from interacting with clients to seeing the final product in print or on the web. Each step of the process is hard work, but when you are passionate about something, hard work is fun, too. I thoroughly enjoy taking artistic, music and fashion portraits, editorial photos, as well as business portraits, on-location and commercial product photography. I also have a collection of artistic photography, taken in my free time to inspire and motivate me to grow as a creative professional. A selection of these images can be seen in my artistic gallery.

When I'm not taking photos, I am spending time with my family, playing the guitar or writing music. A musician for more than 20 years, I often play lead guitar for independent artists in the Nashville area.
